There are several ways to place an order at SBC:

• Select your school, location and list
• Create an account or log in
• Select your books/accessoires
• Check your order en click on the button 'Afrekenen' (to pay)

2.     Using the paper order form you have received from school.

            If you choose to order via paper order form, you can drop it off at our service counters. You can also send the form to:

Always enter your information clearly, both on the website and the paper order form and always provide the order form with a signature.

You have the right to return them within 14 calendar days after delivery of the order without giving reasons. Returned items are accepted only if you have been carefully with the item and packaging.

Return Policy / right of return does not apply to:
a. Articles that are clearly personal in nature (think of digital materials with logins)
b. articles that have been created in accordance with the specifications of the teacher / consumer (think: Printing On Demand)
c. sealed packages of loose leaf contents, whose accuracy no longer can be monitored after the removal of container (think Syllabi, etc.)
d. articles whose seal is broken (think of computer software)
e. articles that are liable to changes in price (think of foreign literature)

You send the package (postage prepaid) clearly provide your information (name, address and account number) to:

Refund (if applicable) will within 30 days made to your bank account number.

It is possible to cancel an order. Condition for this is that the order has not been processed by us. You can submit your cancellation via: annuleringen@studieboekencentrale.nl.
We will contact you about the procedure and any refund amounts.

If you forget to order a book or would like to order additional books and / or materials, you can do it the same way as your previous order. State in your order that you have previously ordered from us. The new / additional order will be added to your account and will be there for you to see at all times. If you choose to let the extra / forgotten books to be delivered by post , we will charge shipping costs. This does not apply if you place the order the same day.

When you order through this website, you immediately receive an order confirmation email. When you send us your order by post , you will receive after processing the order an e-mail order confirmation. It is therefore important that you always have a legible e-mail address.

Send an email to klantenservice@studieboekencentrale.nl, mentioning of which school and which program you wish to receive an order form. You will receive an email from us with the relevant order form as soon as possible.
SBC can deliver order forms / booklists of the on our website listed schools. If your school or training is not listed, then you have apply for a form at your school.
I want to order via SBC, but my school is not listed.
What should I do? If your school or training is not listed on our list of SBC schools, this means that SBC does not provide the book lists for this school or training. You can always order your books from us. Click here for online order form

There are two ways to receive your order; send by post or collect it. It should be noted that the delivery method depends on the booklist / school.

You can change the delivery method provided logistics have not been processed yet. Please contact customer service (klantenservice@studieboekencentrale.nl) for the status of your order.

For school year 2010-2011, the following postage is charged: 1 and 2 books € 2.95 3 books and over € 4.95. Backorders of the same order will shipped later without charge.

The order will be shipped after your payment has been received.
Important: In summer, the orders are shipped from a certain date (generally taken about three weeks before the new school year begins).

The package will be offered to you for a second time or you can collect your books. TNT will inform you about the second attempt or where you can collect your package.

The following payment options are offered by SBC :
>    Cash by collecting your order at one of the bookstores.
      You can pay cash or via pin at the bookstores where your order is delivered.
>    Direct debit
      The total amount of your order will be debited to your account within three working days. Your order will be sent after receiving payment.
>    Invoice
      You will receive an invoice within a few days after placing your order.
      We expect payment within 14 days of receiving the invoice. Your order will be sent after receiving payment.

No, it is not possible to pay after receiving your order at SBC.

You can contact our Customer Service (klantenservice@studieboekencentrale.nl) and ask for a new invoice. Please clearly state your name, address and order number. We will send you the new invoice as soon as possible .

This may be because you've specified to order used books. The amount of the invoice is less than the amount of the order, because you paid an adjusted amount for the specified books.

SBC buys books used by students at a purchase rate of 35% of the current price of the book at the end of each academic year . We only buy books reoccurring on the booklist at the following academic year.

1. You cannot offer workbooks or loose products (pages)
2. Rented books for the previous year provided by us cannot be offered.
3. Books must be in good condition (the fact that books are used for a period of a year will be taken into account).
4. Books must be blank and not written upon
 

In what period can I sell used books to SBC?
Period 2010:  28-06-2010 to 30-08-2010.

You may, after publication of the intake lists 2010, send the books you wish to offer, with the completed form "Offer Used Books" to (postage by you):

Yes, this is possible. You can, when placing your order, select "used book order". If this option is not offered when ordering at our website or in your paper booklist, then we cannot deliver your used books.
SBC tries to supply you with used books if available. It is not possible to advance an assurance that you will actually receive used books. We depend on the supply of used books.
When the stock of used books is not enough, you will automatically receive new books.

Yes. SBC buys only books that appear on the book lists for the new season. The ISBN match is carefully checked.

You'll pay 65% of the original price for a used (second-hand) book .
